Conte Priola is a brand that is easy to find, easy to drink
and is very food-friendly. For red, try
Conte Priola Pinot Noir. It’s an Italian
wine that is fairly inexpensive. Total
Wine and More sells it for $7.99 and can be found in the Pinot Noir area of the
store. It's a medium-bodied wine, unlike the full-bodied Chianti of the same brand I mentioned in another post. You can taste the berries in this wine. It's so smooth you won't notice that you've had a few glasses until you stood up. It pairs well with fish and white meat.

Conte Priola Pinot Grigio
Cost: $7.49

Conte Priola Pinot Grigio is a
delicate white wine that is also from Italy and is inexpensive at $7.49 from
Total Wine & More. It is a
refreshing, crisp wine with citrus flavors and pairs well light hors d'oeuvres,
seafood and light pasta dishes.
Even if the wine isn’t served during the party, your hostess
will be extremely happy that they now have two bottles of wine to take to their
next last minute dinner invite...or to add to their wine collection. Honestly, if you brought this to my house I'd most likely drink it myself. ;)
Salute!
