This week, one of my friends asked me to help him select wine (under $20) for an upcoming gathering he is hosting. After flooding him with a "few" of my favorites, I introduced him to this blog. One of the reasons why I do this is because of YOU, my readers/friends. A few of you have asked me about the wines that I drink, so I figured I'd use this venue to let you all know which wines I have tried and liked (or didn't like). Most of the wines I feature are under $15.
This is one of my favorite wines - Blue Fin Petite Sirah. This is a table wine, or as I call it an "anytime wine." If you are a red wine drinker you will like this because it is easy to drink and you can have it with all types of food (or just by itself). It has a very dark red color with blackberry, boysenberry, and raspberry flavors and a hint of vanilla. It is a moderately complex wine that doesn't have a long-lasting finish. The BEST part...wait for it.....it's only $5 bucks! How can you beat that?

Those of you lucky enough to have a Trader Joe's nearby that sells alcohol, go and pick up a few bottles. You won't be disappointed. It is a nice wine to have for that "I just showed up at your house" guest, or to sip on when you are watching anything on Bravo. LOL!
Enjoy!
