My daughter loves her little brother even though he drives her crazy most days. He loves to go into her room and touch her stuff. Of course, she hates that and she's constantly telling him to get out of her room.
I check on the kids every night before I go to bed. First I go into Chey's room to make sure she is not watching her iPad. (Yes, I'm trying to catch her in the act and I've done so a few times.) Then to Junior's room to put the blanket back on because he sleeps like a ninja. Fifty percent of the time I find them sleeping together. She usually climbs into his crib and goes to sleep with him. The other night Junior's crib was empty. I go back to Chey's room and there he is in the corner of her bed. She looks up and tells me, "I stole Junior. I was hoping you didn't notice."

How about a sibling wine suggestion? I guess you can say they're siblings since they come from the same vineyard. LOL!
Hubby bought two Australian wines at the local grocery store on sale for $6.99 (reg. $9.99). Jacob's Creek Merlot and Shiraz. Hubby preferred the Shiraz, while I liked the Merlot.

Jacob's Creek Merlot and Shiraz $6.99 Sale Price at Shaw's Supermarket (Regular $9.99) |
Both are from Jacob's Creek's Classic line, which is described as a fresh, great tasting wine that is "ideal for those who seek excellent value and reliable quality for every day enjoyment." (
Jacob's Creek website) The winery is the oldest winery in Australia (circa 1847).
I had a totally different taste in my mouth when I tasted the wines. The Shiraz had a strong peppery, spicy taste and I would prefer to have the wine with a meal rather than by itself. As soon as I tasted the Merlot I said, "it tastes grapey." My daughter heard me and said, DUH, it's wine!" LOL! As you can imagine, the Merlot had a more fruity taste. I could smell the cherry at the first sniff.
Both wines would be good to serve at a dinner party, especially if you were serving two main dishes like a pasta dish (Merlot) along with a meat dish (Shiraz). But, if you are like me and will never be the next Martha Stewart or my friends Tracy K or Dwayla D, you will only serve one dish and serve both wines anyway.
I'm hosting a Wine Tasting party this weekend for some of hubby's work folks. I'll tell you all about it later. Wish me luck!
Salute!
